This is an audit. As heirs to a Christian civilization, we have a duty of stewardship. Part of that duty is understanding exactly how the current regime is squandering what was once built for our ancestors and our posterity.* **"Jobs"** tells you this benefits your community. **"Growth"** tells you it's inevitable. **"Innovation"** tells you if you question it, you're against the future. The revolution runs on diesel backup generators — in your neighborhood. **"We need to stay competitive in AI"** Competitive at what? Nobody has told you what the prize is. They are dismissals. **"Powering the AI revolution"** — said every utility commission that just approved a rate hike Convenient — a revolution where they own the upside and you own the infrastructure. **"This will put your region on the map"** — said every county commissioner who approved the rezoning The map they're talking about is not yours. *You're not a partner. You need to ask the question out loud — in a comment, in a letter to your local representative, across the table. The question is the resistance. Assert your position without seeking anyone's approval. You're naming a mechanism, not asking for permission to be right. *The diagnosis of the AI data centers is clear. But knowing the pathology of the beast is only half the task. The technocratic regime is trying to reverse that process. They are trying to treat the living soul as if it were nothing more than dust—to be processed, sorted, and managed by machines. They want a world of "lifeless stone" because they have rejected the Architect who breathed life into you. They may have the "gold and silver" of the tech giants, but they lack the only thing that sustains life: the *ruach*. They are trying to turn the living into the dead, because a dead man is a much better worker, consumer, and subject than a living soul. Their system is ultimately hollow because it is a rebellion against the very nature of the person. #### A Prayer for the Living Lord, we thank You that we are not the data points the world says we are. We confess that it is easy to feel small and managed when we look at the scale of their machinery. Help us to see through the illusion of their "progress." Give us the strength to guard our families and our communities from this spirit of management. We do not ask for a life free of hardship, but for a life that is fully and truly lived in You. Protect our spirit from being flattened into a number. Remind us, every day, that we were breathed into existence by Your hand, and that no system, no matter how powerful, can ever overwrite the image You have placed within us.
